18 Hole Scramble Two-person teams Monday, June 24, 2024

The Hotchkiss Undermountain Challenge started as an event pitting the women’s golf league from Hotchkiss against the Undermountain Twilight Swingers League. Bragging rights on a trophy that traveled back and forth between the two clubs ensued for almost twenty years. Pat Kelly, a retired RN and member of both Hotchkiss School Golf Course in Lakeville CT, and Undermountain Golf Course in Ancram, NY was instrumental in organizing the event. After her death in the fall of 2022, the participants decided to honor her legacy by creating a scholarship in her name.

In 2024 24 golfers participate. The event totaled $1500 donated to the Webutuck Central School Scholarship Fund. The award will go to a graduating Senior from the class of 2024 who will attend a 2 to 4-year program, majoring in nursing. I am sure Pat would approve.

For this year’s event, we are opening the sign-up to both men’s and women’s teams.

$75.00 Entry includes 18 -holes of golf with a cart (9 holes at each facility) complimentary cocktail, and mid-day snacks.

Luncheon will be available for purchase following golf.
