Millerton Amenia Battle For Books

Amenia Free Library and NorthEast-Millerton Libray host the Annual Battles for Books. The event is a 9-hole scramble where 2-person teams can compete for the Library of their choice. Proceeds are split evenly between the 2 facilities, but bragging rights and a perpetual trophy are awarded to the side with the lowest total score.

Golf is followed by a simple picnic dinner and drinks. Prizes are awarded to teams with the lowest scores. The libraries also raise funds with a 50/50 raffle drawn on the evening of the event.
